Oh, the humanity

I just want to say that other forums I read/post on sometimes seem to be so completely technically oriented and humorless, and, frankly, boring, that robots must be in charge. This 50+ forum, happily, is so obviously humans, warts and all, problems, bellyaches, laughs, tears, everything. It's great.

One of the main reasons I visit this forum so often is for the same reasons that you have stated. Mind you- It is like that with all of us 100 mile riders.

I don't believe I've ever used the term, "Aw shucks," Mr. Gee.

Kee-righst lady, you sound like a friggin' newpaper reporter or somethin'.

Lighten up with the "humanity" rap, and ease on down to San Diego for a little R & R with The Gary!

One self-respecting lady wanders in here, and you try to run her off. Hush up, yard dog, and stay on the porch where you belong.

Gonna hit the information super highway, and then I’ll ride.

Don't worry. She's a tough cookie. She can ride 100 miles, which is a lot more than I can say for myself.

Gary, of course she likes us (well, except maybe for the warts thing). After all we're fun, lovable, kind to children and small animals, humble (we're so frickin' humble that if you look up 'humble' in a dictionary you'll see our pictures), only slightly opinionated, and best of all we look really great in spandex. What's not to like?

Of course there's a couple of other words in the dictionary one could look up and see DG's picture--but it's best that we don't go there. Forget I mentioned it.

Recovery complete, stapfam, thanks for asking. It took about three-four days to feel normal again, whatever that is. I'm back to riding with enthusiasm!
