I'm So Happy !!!!
Bear with me on this little happy ending for me. I posted a thread a couple of months ago asking if anyone ever had burning lungs while riding. A short time after that I found through a stress test that I had 2 arterial blockages. At the end of June I had 5 stents placed to correct the problem. Two weeks ago I took my first "recovery ride" and what a difference!!! I can breathe again !!! And after 5 rides my avg. speed has increased by almost 1.5 mph over before the procedures. I can now cruise at close to 17 mph (used to be 15.5) and getting better every ride. This week I'll rejoin my buds for our weekly 35 miler. Woo-Hoo !!! It just goes to show you, listen to your body, it's always talking to you. This is one 53 year old who's happy and thankful !!! :) Thanks For Reading !!!!

I never knew how bad I was feeling till I had bypass surgury. I adjusted to feeling lousy and probably would have kept on adjusting right up to my death bed.
Isn't it great to feel good again? |
Wow, yeah, I remember that post too. It's great that your doc found the problem, and even better that it could be fixed so effectively. Good for you! Enjoy your new-found fitness!!

Like others, I recall your earlier post. That's great news!! Thanks for keeping us posted about it, I often wonder about others who post with concerns and you then never hear about it again. Glad to hear you are getting back into form.
