When you break a spoke, then drop your carbon bike on the side of the road without looking, and hop on the replacement bike.

...when this first thing that comes to mind when you see this young woman is, "I wonder if she's leading the Tour?"

When you drop a bottle of motor oil and start looking for engines jumping out of their cars. Or worse, you can't stop singing the "I wanna ride" jingle out loud, in public, maybe even wearing full motocross kit.

You know you've been watching to much tour coverage when........

you find yourself drafting an articulated truck and trailer down a 4 kilometer very steep very winding very narrow road at 35 mph and absolutely loving the thrill. Despite being fully concious that the driver only has to brush his foot lightly over his air-brake pedal and you're mincemeat.

I can't believe I did that on this afternoon's ride!

Speaking of drafting, I had a great experience today. I was going into a stiff, 3/4 headwind coming from my left, and a bee appeared just to my right, and slightly behind me. At first I was alarmed, but after a few hundred yards I realized she was deliberately in the wind-shadow my fat butt was creating. She hung there for about a 1/2 mile, just being sucked along!

So I guess the question is, do bees get OLN???

Typical. Always drafting, never pulling.

Yeah, I gave the bee some grief after she bailed on me without taking a turn up front. Do you think it's a bee thing? Or a woman thing? Or just that particular bee's personality?

That's his goal. Deliberately mangles French on purpose.

You know..... Bobke speaks fluent French.... he just does it to piss off the French. He always thought that the French treated him and his team very poorly and this is his way of saying up yours Frenchi!
