Man, I've always done that. That's why I couldn't understand Digital Gee's post about a new water bottle. I thought all water bottles were new. You're not going to try and tell me that people actually re-use those things are you? Good grief; that would mean you'd have to figure out how to wash it.

You try to put bar end shifters on your mountain bike.

You hold up one hand when you get a flat, as oppposed to hanging on for dear life

You have been watching too much of the Tour when ...

When you get up in the morning, the first thing you do is turn the TV to OLN.

Only to find bull riding, dodge ball or some fishing competition, no bikes, then I go into deep depression

You watch a replay of stage 17 on the DVR the first day after the race. (I'm doing that now. It looks like Floyd might just make it!)

Not just the Euro pros, but the domestic pros like to chuck their bottles when they're empty. And with the vastly fewer people watching domestic road races, I've known guys to scout the course immediately after the race, scavenging bottles used only once...

In fact, I once managed a regional team riding the Ruta Mexico years ago. We didn't have the money for all the bottles we needed for the 14 stages, so I had to instruct our riders not to chuck their bottles, and to roll their empty musettes into their pickets. And when we drove in the caravan, we'd keep our eyes open for chucked bottles and musettes. And when we saw one, we'd come to a screaming stop and there'd be a mad scramble between us and one or two of the poorer teams for it.

You still believe any of the jet aircraft engineers have anything to do with a post-GM Saab.
