I saw this one on Jeykll Island, Georgia. I'd love to read the engineering report that came up this this recommendation.

Not necessarily funny, but a welcome sign to see.

"..........and then the wheels came off."

I don't know if this qualifies, but recently I was riding through the thriving metropolis of Womelsdorf PA when I noticed that I was passing the intersection of Seltzer and Water, I just know that Soupy Sales must live near there. (You probably have to be 50+ to know who Soupy is.)

Sure I remember Soupy. Whitefang and Pookie rule!

In Urbana, IL there is an intersection of Hollywood and Vine.

There is also Race Street in Urbana and I rode in a criterium once that incorporated it into the course.

There used to be a resturant in Gloucester called: "Beef n' Bun". It always struck me as funny.

There used to be a radiator shop down the road that advertised as "The best place to take a leak".

My favorite local road name is "Booger Hill".

A few feet off the bike path I ride on is a speed limit sign that says 70mph. It actually goes with the freeway on the other side of the fence, but it's much closer to the bike path. Gotta watch out for those roadies, they're fast....

What was his theme song? "Happy Days Are Here Again"?
