What a great day to turn 50
I officially join the ranks today. I don't feel 50, at least the way I assumed 50 might feel... or something. I rode my age yesterday, a little over 50 miles. That was a PB for me. I feel good this morning and may ride again today if I can work it in. Our daughters are home from college and a few friends are coming over this afternoon to eat gumbo.
This time last week, I was still hurting pretty bad from an inflamed achilles tendon, (didn't see that coming) . Didn't know wheter I'd ever smile again, but by Tuesday it was feeling alot better and I rode about 40 minutes on Wednesday. It feels fine this morning, It sucked not being able to ride for that week. Life is good.
