Where in the World is PastorBob?
 

Haven't read anything from our Pastor for several weeks. Is he buried under a few feet of snow in New Hampshire? Or out in his workshop, working on another Schwinn restoration?

Same question I asked inside a recent thread. I suspect he's buried himself inside one of those peanut butter cakes his wife makes and won't come out. Hopefully he'll see this thread, like Berts did some time ago, and check in.

This place is becoming like the donut shop down on the corner where all the geezers come in early for their donut and discussion of Harry Truman like he was sitting right there at the end of the table. Someone doesn't show up and they get flustered. For us, it's like sitting down at the olde fashioned bicycle shop fixing flats for the youngsters and discussing.............DG's stiff neck.

We'll save you a maple bar PastorBob for when you check in.

I've seen him posting occasionally in the Classic & Vintage forum. I miss the youngster's interesting comments in here.

Funny, I thought about Pastor Bob this afternoon while out riding...wondering where he is.

He was over at C&V this morning.

I started to post the same question so it's obvious he has not been dawdling with us.

My suspicion is it is a seasonal thing where he has given up "talking" on BF50+ because it is a true sacrifice!!

On no......on the other hand what if he has truly seen the light and become a Monk and taken a vow of silence???

I miss PB's words of reason and inspiration........

I have a Linear OSS and a Lightning P-38 and a lot of other bikes, some ridable some not....I have even made a few
I have even been known to get into inspiration although not so much the reason.................... I really don't have a reason... peace.

It was in the 60's here Weds. I was really expecting a "First warm ride report" from PB, but alas, nothing. Of course we are expecting a foot of snow today. Hope everything is OK with our favorite pastor.

Floyd....Bf50Plus needs a chaplain. The only other candidates are Big Paulie, Chipcom, or me. Looks like you're it.

His posts in this forum ended several weeks ago on the tail end of the threads related to why females do not post all that often on the 50+ forum. If I remember correctly he felt some responsibility for the birth of an issue that was less than typical of the 50+ forum. I have seen him post on the C&C forum, too. So, I know he's around. Hope he joins the 50+ again. (Just in case you're lurking here PastorBob, there are those of us who miss your thoughts and comments).

I usually check in every day but miss a few, like monday, my day off but am enjoying the forum even though I have not formally introduced myself.. .. .. .. This is a great place to hide out a few minutes of each day............................peace

PastorBob was tried and found not 50+. Maybe he's out riding his vintage Schwinn(s).

Like many, I too have been wondering where the good pastor is. As mentioned above I believe the dust up during the thread about women posting on the 50+ has had something to do with it.
I hope he rejoins us soon.

I'm not worried about PastorBob: he'll be back when the spirit moves him.

Perhaps he is denying himself the pleasure of the BF 50+ Forum as part of a Lenten sacrifice?
