Spring Sprung?!?!
 

I've been urging for Spring to get here as much as anyone and it has arrived in the Carolinas---with all it's seasonal offerings. The temps are going to be in the 80's by the weekend. All the early blooming plants have as big and bright of blossoms as I think I've seen in years. However, that has brought us intense pollen, mold, etc.

I got some early indications after mowing the grass on Saturday and riding in the wind Sunday that my sinuses and allergies were going to remind me it was Spring time as well. You know the symptoms-itchy eyes, scratchy throat, sinus congestion, less energy, etc. I've learned to jump on my anti-allergy regimen as soon as any symptoms begin showing. The longer I wait to get started the harder it is to get full recovery.

I am not fussing though!! Just glad to have this season with us for a while for some ideal riding!!

Yes, here in Kansas too we have signs of spring and warm and of course............bike riding with enjoyment. peace

Upper 70s and lower 80s here for days on end. Spring has sprung.

Early spring here, but the daffodils are blooming, one of my favorite signs that Spring has sprung.

First day of spring was yesterday but all it bought was a freezing wind and Clouds. As to the daffodols- Had them out in my garden since December but these are Alpine Narcissus that still survive from when I used to show them. In fact- Most of the daffs are finished in my garden now, but still waiting for spring to arrive.

About 70 degrees here in DC today - working from home & gonna quit early & ride in a few minutes. This weekend the temp is suppose to drop into the 50's but that's fine as long as no rain....

We've been getting some nice weather in Colorado lately. A couple days ago I got back from a glorious lunchtime ride only to find that the meeting I had hustled back for had been canceled ... because our office in Boston shut down due to ice and snow! I consider it partial payback for all the snow we had in December and January.

Rode to work yesterday and the day before! Rained today-that's OK because muscles telling me to take a day off riding.

Well, I hope there is Spring in Carolina. I'll be in Chapel Hill for the first week in April. Down there visiting my daughter at UNC and two close friends. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of green growing things and flowers.

Definitely Spring around here, we've had a few nice days & the Chorus frogs are singing by the thousand!

It has here. The rain is also let loose.

My condolences for having to send money to that school.........The way things are going the next week or so it should be very green in that part of NC.

We're there - high of 78 today, with green pine pollen covering everything - and the ms 150 is just around the corner (4 weeks).
