retrofit sometimes does not go with the original...but that has never kept me away from doing it.

Spandex has a tension similar to tape. Pinned is an approximation. Do we have to go into this much detail?

solveg 09-07-08 09:37 AM

Well, it is* a little hard to imagine.

... and hard to forget.... do we have to go there again?

maddmaxx 09-07-08 09:40 AM

for you maybe.......:)

Sorry Yen.........this leaked over from another post that required some technical details............:roflmao2:

solveg 09-07-08 09:42 AM

I think the problem is I took "pinned" literally, instead of a descriptive.

Don't know if you know a comedian called "Joe Pasquali"? He has a song that can be Adapted that suits this thread.

"I know a thread that will get on your nerves- get on your nerves- get on your nerves"
"I know a thread that will get on your nerves- get on your nerves- get on your nerves"
"I know a thread that will get on your nerves- get on your nerves- get on your nerves"
"I know a thread that will get on your nerves- get on your nerves- get on your nerves"

It carries on with the above repeated for 3 hours- or until someone get the baseball bat out.

Thinking of adding a new bike to my stable. What do you think of this one?

Only if it comes well equipped!

rdmjr 07-27-09 06:21 AM

I say a somewhat younger gentleman (not sure he'd qualify for a 5+ forum ) out on a similar bike on Friday. His seat and handlebars were set considerably lower, but he was occasionally getting up to 8 or 9 mph. I do feel obligated to warn you, though - his cadence appeared to be in the 200+ range to get to that speed. I'll also add a +1 to Beverly's comment. :D

Floyd 07-27-09 10:09 AM

Looks like fun in a parade...I have one I made recently that is a little bigger wheels but same idea. It is a little unstable cause I sit almost directly above the back wheel. I think you should get this one even though it is not white.

JanMM 07-27-09 12:48 PM

Is that thing a fixie?

kjc9640 07-27-09 12:56 PM

Round and round it goes where it stops nobody knows...

Airdog320 07-28-09 10:39 AM

I lost my place........can we start over?

Floyd 07-28-09 11:47 AM

Those bikes did not have shifters nor brakes to my knowledge so it must be a fixie.... nice catch on the detail, if it indeed IS a fixie.
This is the neverending thread so not stops and starts....................... . . . . . . . . . . . . .
