I just found out

I can ride my beach cruiser with the front wheel backwards, so that the North Bars are, well, pointed South. In other words, I can turn the wheel around 180 degrees and ride the bike.

There is nothing practical in this knowledge, but I did find it fascinating! I should probably have taken this to the Digital Gee sub-forum. Sorry!

If you can do a good wheel stand you can spin the thing around while you're riding. We want video of that!!

I'm not sure what this says about Digital but every 12 year old boy in the country just "has" to have a bike that will do that. Interestingly, I can count on my fingers the number of kids I've seen who can actually do a bar spin.

My wife said she seen a woman at the park, get done with her ride for the day at the park, before realizing see had her handlebars backwards. Must have been on a cell phone.

I would be perfectly happy to have the bars backward if I could just get out and ride.

Would a pedal boat be a viable option this year?
