Back in the Saddle Again

For the last two days, I got to work without using my car. It feels great! It really does seem I have recovered from my ski accident last month. The first day I rode to work was a bigger kick than the first day I left my crutches at home.

I'm not riding all the way. I ride two miles to the Pentagon bus rack, put my bike on the rack attatched to the bus, ride for 25 minutes, and cycle the remaining mile to work. It is a start, though, and, since I have never used a city bus before, quite an adventure. In time, I will be riding all the way.

It's all downhill from here. Except the parts that are uphill.

Good to hear you're back on the bike.

I'm jealous of people who have the option of riding their bikes to work.

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Glad to here that your road to recovery is progressing.

Just don't tell your physical therapist you are riding 6 miles a day on a real bike. They tend to freak out.
