The pumpless pump

Your tires nearly flat?

But that other bike over there seems to have plenty?

No problem, just borrow some air ...

Everyone will now blame you if they have low tires in the morning ! :D

MNBikeguy 06-25-07 12:50 PM

You syphon thief you.. :)

A whole new industry is born. "Locking Presta Valves". 1973 lives.

:roflmao: :roflmao:

roccobike 06-25-07 04:59 PM

Great, just what we need, an extension cord for pumps!

Trsnrtr 06-25-07 07:30 PM

So, now two bikes will be low on air?

Tom Bombadil 06-25-07 07:34 PM

But one will be higher than it was!!

If one bike has 30 psi and the other 120 psi, then they will both leave with 75 psi.

Digital Gee 06-25-07 07:56 PM

Okay, what the hell is that thing?

rubic 06-25-07 08:01 PM

That thing can't be for real. It's just a bunch of.....hot air.

maddmaxx 06-26-07 09:38 AM

Not to hyjack this thread but how often do you exchange the old air in your tires for new air. Will it help to run straight nitrogen?

Do you rotate the tires on your bike........Front to rear or side to side?

That post made my head hurt...:D

I think someone has been sniffing the helium again.

Just keep looking at it. It is perfect in its simplicity.

One step further ...

If you have a 30 psi tire and your newfound "friend" has two tires at 120 psi. Then you get up to 75 psi from the front tire, and then boost it to over 90 psi off of the rear tire.

I'm sure CrossChain or Big Paulie wouldn't mind!

Digital Gee 06-26-07 12:38 PM

Yeah, but this thing adds weight. Just sayin

maddmaxx 06-26-07 12:40 PM

Has anyone ever looked up Digital Gee on Google? Amazing. Our very own number one hit.

Wow, and with my berry own "Double Posts: Curse of the 50+ Forum?" thread mentioned too. We's famous Gee, shall we start charging a hefty appearance fee?

Welcome. I think I'll go for a bike ride now.

Not as much as most "pumps"

And it is much easier to use.

maddmaxx 06-26-07 06:07 PM

I think that my screw on valve and CO2 cartridge is reasonably light and pumpless.

Tom Bombadil 06-26-07 06:11 PM

But your CO2 is much more costly than free air.

maddmaxx 06-26-07 06:18 PM

Air is only free if your stealing it from some poor unsuspecting bicyclist. Else you have to work for it.

maddmaxx 06-26-07 06:20 PM

How do you think the tourists are going to feel. "Hey....I went up to Minnisota to meet some of the nice people and some Guy in a winged helmet stole the very air out of my tires". Geesh, you'd think it was New York.
