Welcome offcially to 50+ community. I think I got younger when I started reading most of the post on the 50+ and started riding distant miles. This is a fun forum to be associated with, believe me.

Welcome aboard, you'll fit right in, after all they haven't kicked me out yet.

Welcome to the asylum. Where did you go for your birthday ride? Did you happen to see a white Roubaix doing 100 laps around a neighborhood block?

Happy Birthday Lady Icon! Wishing you the best.

As for me, Im 55 and only two years ago I went on a self-contained bike tour from VA to CO. It was and still is one of the highlights of my entire life.

And now I'm looking forward to getting a true road bike within the next month, and I am psyched! (Probably a Trek Pilot 2.1.)

I'm not bragging about the above (well maybe a little), but it's just that bike riding has become an integral part of my life, and helps so much with my mental and physical health. And like you LadyIcon, my age just doesn't feel that old.
