tlc20010 Wins the Place of Honor as the last entry in our 50+ Rogue's Gallery.

It has been a long time since anyone voluntarily (without my urging) sent a bio and pic into the RG, and the "page hits" are way down, so it is dying a natural death of old age and disinterest. I will keep it around for a bit, then I will have the "Rogue's Gallery" sticky removed and then just let it "fade away." It has been fun.

I regret that newbies and others haven't had an interest in participating, but things change, and I have to change with the times.

Guess I don't understand why it has to be removed, unless it's costing something to keep it up. Otherwise, even if new folks don't get themselves included, why does the gallery have to be deleted? Is there some maintenance involved you don't want to do?

It is mostly psychological on my part. It just sort of hangs there, getting old, and a burden on my mind. Yes, I know it is strange, but, then, so am I! In addition, it is using one of my 7 AOL allowed screen names - i.e., one screen name, one web site. I sometimes need a temporary screen name for one-time uses. Right now, this isn't a problem.

If I had time, I might transfer it to a free google site, but they require you to upload one file at a time. Extremely tedious, as it contains 279 files.

I also hate to see it go. Give me a couple days to think about it and then email me at tvandawalker@verizon.net. I may be able to find time to build a google site if I can get the files from you. I think the web site could grow into something special over time. Sorta like a Best of the 50+ers.

I may start a poll to see if there is any interest.

Absolutely....pie for everyone who shows up for the Boyds to Sugarloaf Mountain to Boyds 46 miles of hills next weekend...we promise a pace of no more than 16 mph, so the entire trip will take you less than 3 hours. I'll buy pie a la mode for everyone who finishes.
