I sure do. Stuff tastes like... well, never mind. But I can't even gag it down.

How do you know what ... tastes like
I don't care too much for the bottled Gatorade except for the Rain version. I normally buy the powder and mix it to suit my taste.

No. I like it when I'm hot and sweaty. Much better than Powerade imho.

When I am hot even a little water makes me sick but I can drink diluted Gatorade all day long. I average about a case/week. Has anyone tried the bottled Accelerade yet?

In this thread I compared it to "overly sweetened, artificially flavored saliva", and posted my homemade alternative.

I love it. +1 on better than Powerade. Gatorade has as sweeterner and carbohydrate source glucose, sucrose and fructose. Powerade has high fructose corn syrup. I am anti voluntary intake of high fructose corn syrup, which I blame in part for helping with the fattening of America because it is so cheap and in nearly everything.

I can tolerate Gatorade dilouted. I've found that the generic diet orange soda sold in the local Safeway is cheaper then G'ade, tastes better, and dilutes just as well.

Diluted 50% for me also, and that is only if I am going very far, otherwise I stay with water.

I don't like any of those products. There's something about them that activates my gag reflex. For cycling purposes, I just fill my water bottles with half orange juice and half water, to which I add a pinch of salt (I like to use grey salt marsh salt from Brittany, but that's just a personal choice). This is much cheaper, tastes better and is just as effective (and probably healthier) than anything you can buy.

I like Gatorade but it is not realy that good for cycling. Heed is better - less calories and less chance to upset your stomach.

Can't stand it. I go simple... I simply squeeze a bit of lime into my water. Takes away the taste of plastic and is pleasant enough to encourage more water drinking... which is good.

Nope, don't like Gatorade. We have something here much better. Find coconut tree (they are very common), knock down a green coconut - make hole, insert straw.
Man, it is good and good for you! (a lot cheaper than Gatorade - as in free)

I like Cool Blue Raspberry. Other than that it pretty much stinks.

I use it every ride. Generally works well for me but I've gone to alternating swigs between Gaide and water. Probably the same and mixing 50/50.........but I like just plain water.

I use the powder and mix it a bit less than the directions. I also always add ice to my bottles so it is probably 50/50 when I drink it. No problems for me, although I like the Citrus better than the lime, but I cannot find that in a powder.

I have only tried Gatorade once and I did not like the taste. Perhaps the wrong flavour or not watered down but I could not do a ride with that taste in my mouth. Powerade is another that I have tried and the red or neutral colour is to my liking but the blue one is disgusting.
If I am just out on a short ride- then I use water but with just a taste of cordial in to take the taste of the plastic bottle away. If I am on a harder or longer ride- then I use an additive called Leppin. (A long chain carbo hydrate mix) There are a variety of flavours and I settled on one I like but That was not available last time out and finished up with Lemon/ pinapple and this is not bad. The one I use is Energy boost and I normally use it at 5 Spoonfulls per litre of water. Just below what is recommended but it give me all the electrolites I need for a ride. However for a gruelling ride- it is 10 spoons per liter, and as I have found out- you mix it well.
You do need a boost of salts and something else on a long or hard ride- but there are many different additives out there. You just have to find the one you like.
Just a warning- Take a second bottle of plain water if you use any of these drinks. Energy drink over the head to cool you down- attracts the Wasps and doesn't help in cuts either.
