going back to Austria
 

Woohoo, I just booked a flight to Munich, which is a short train ride from Salzburg. Did my first European cycling tour there 5 years ago, and now I am going back with 2 friends. Leaving October 1 and will be gone 2 weeks.

Will be mostly in the Alps but I do not do mountain passes. Even when I was young I was a poor climber. There are some great bike paths through the valleys so climbing is minimal. Here is one of my favourite photos from my last trip:

The path goes to the left of the fortress on the hill, then through the valley in the middle of the photo.

If you like beer find the Augustinerkeller in Salzburg
