Ride of the month

Grandson Kory and I did 24 on the James River and South Creek trails on Tuesday. It does not get much better than that. He's 13 and can really eat. You should have seen him plow through the spaghetti and meatballs and breadsticks after we finished riding. That was nearly as sweet to watch as taking him to a local show with a ventriloquist and talking dogs and seeing the reactions there. He memorized most of the jokes on a single pass. Grandkids are good for you, I highly recommend them.

Not sure either one of you could look happier. Now that's extra special.

WOW...that is so cool . I am envious, and I can't wait till my Granddaughter is old enough to go for a ride.

Very cool. I don't have grandkids, but I do have a son about the same age as your grandson who I really enjoy riding with. Nice looking path, too.

Hey, I recognize that big ugly dude on the left!

Sounds and looks as if you and Kory had a blast. Kory looks like he might be equally at home on a mountain bike or a roadie.

Handsome looking grandson Looks like you were both having a great time.

I always love riding with the grandkids. Unfortunately they're all growing up and starting families of their own. Guess I'll have to wait on the great grandkids to get old enough to ride.

That's one of the main reasons I'm in Texas now. So I can ride with my son and grandson. It sure looks like you were having a good time and I'm happy for you both.

I understand about the eating part. For years, with four boys, our grocery bill was $1000 - $1200 per month. Really.

Everytime I turned around we needed two gallons of milk and new pair of sneakers.
