No pie ride for me tomorrow. Driving the family to Atlanta to visit my wife's sick Grandmother and do some shopping.

I'm UP for it. I'm in Red Wing, Minnesota and planning to ride tomorrow (Sat) morning up the Cannon Valley Trail. Hope to do at least 40 miles, but never know what I will do 20? 30? 50?
I'm just meandering around the area today, and will be hiking a bit this afternoon. I really like the town and the surrounding area. And I just found out that there will be a car show in the parking lot next to my motel tonight.

My sister and I will be riding in the Columbia Gorge on Sun, then stopping by Skamania Lodge for refreshments, now blueberry pie, but I think we might be lucky enough to have huckleberry pie, that is the wild blueberry that is in season in our part of the country right now. Whichever, it will be good!!

I'm in. Will try to remember the camera to take pictures. It may not be blueberry pie but I'll try to pick something with blueberries...pastry, yogurt, muffin.

I will be riding with several women I met during Cycle Across Maryland. I'm bringing a blueberry pie to our after-ride dinner, so I won't technically be following the rules by eating during a ride, but it's close enough.

I need another 27 miles this Sunday. Will have blueberry pie even if I have to make it myself. Although I hope a local farmer has his store open after 5 tomorrow so I can try their blueberry-walnut pie.

What wonderful timing.
Mrs Grouch and I are planning to bicycle into St Charles tomorrow to watch the Tour of Missouri stage finish. Surely one of the restaurants there will have suitable pie. That's 3 rewards for the price of 1.

If any 50+ Minnesotan is near Red Wing or Cannon Falls, I should be easy to spot. I'll be riding my red Trek hybrid w/powergrips on the pedals. Silver helmet, probably a blue jersey, and probably long khaki pants (it will be in the mid-40s when I start. I have some very thin Champion C9 khaki's, so then they have a sun-block rating of SPF-50. You could get a tan right through them. I have my black shorts, but may not go for them.
I know there was someone on this forum last fall who lived in Red Wing, but I can't remember who that was. I have a hard enough time trying to remember my children's names. If that person is still around, then I hope to be at the Red Wing trailhead for the Cannon Valley Trail around 9-9:15.

I really hope to be able to do this tomorrow. Not sure if we'll find pie in the morning but maybe we can have a blueberry bagel at the bagel shop on the way home. We're registered for the Comprehensive Bike Maintenance Class at REI in the afternoon.... maybe we'll celebrate our new wrench status with pie for dessert!

Would you accept Marie Callendar's? The only cute roadside cafes around here generally speak Spanish and are more likely to serve chili rellenos. Probably I'll bake my own...or, if know one minds, a blueberry cobbler.

My all-time favorite is blackberry cobbler. My grandmother used to have us kids gather the blackberries and she made us the best cobbler.

I did a 20 mile park program ride this morning then did the usual stop afterward at a nearby Tim Horton's. They don't have blueberry pie so I substituted a blueberry/bran muffin which should fit right into the 50+ crowd
