Use Sunblock?
Do you use sunblock each time you ride? I could be wrong but when I started riding again recently, it seems the sun has gotten more intense compared to say 20 years ago. So, to be safe, I apply sunblock every ride and walking too.

Don't Bug Me
I smear it all over me every time I ride during the warm months. It is a hassle, but worth it I believe.

I do sometimes. But as I almost exclusively ride rail trails, there are a lot of trees and therefore a lot of shade.
I haven't worn sunglasses once this year, while riding, for the same reason. And as I wear eyeglasses which provide the UV protection, I don't need sunglasses for this.

Yeah, I've been pretty good about it these last few years, even when cutting the grass.
I still end up with a dark tan, although it takes much longer to achieve.
Yes, I have noticed the sun has gotten more intense. Is it because of the ozone layer, or is it just us getting older and more sensitive? Both?

Always. I live at approximately 5300' and often (like today) ride to places over 10,000'. The sun is intense here most of the year so it's best to play it safe. Also, I always wear sunglasses for the sun protection and to keep the little flying beasts out of my eyes.

Living in Texas, and riding in the sun for about 14 hours a week, I do not leave home without it. I still have one heck of a tanline, and just hope I am using enough. It is still intense here, and will be so for a while.

If I'm going to be out for a bit I wear sunblock, at least in the heat of the summer. With sunglasses I wear clipons that flip up or down and I use them as necessary.

I use sunblock year 'round.
Back in the day.....my then wife-to-be convinced me to use Lubriderm lotion as an "aftershave" due to seasonal allergies. It was much easier on my face than alcoholic face lotions. Then I began to use it every day as a body lotion.
Then about 10 years ago Lubriderm SPF 15 (purple cap) came out and have used it everyday since that time. Face, hands, arms, and usually legs. So I pretty much always have some sunblock on.
I also keep a good SPF 45 sunblock with my helmet, gloves, and Road ID, and a tiny tube of Bullfrog stuff in my underseat kit on a couple of my bikes. If they made Lubriderm in an SPF 30 or 45 I would buy a case of it.
Skin cancer is ugly.

As a chronic sufferer of skin cancer, has had three Moh's surgeries and several other scrape offs, and one who has to apply that terrible cream (to get rid of the actinic keratosis, several weeks each year), YES! And I use a screen that protects against BOTH UVA and UVB. And, those UV rays get throught that shade and those clouds, also.

In 1983, I moved, and joined my second bass club. Standing around at the weigh-in of their first tournament I fished, were six older members. They got to talking about skin cancers they'd had removed, and every one of the six had already had multiple cancers removed. I've used sunscreen religiously ever since, year round. If my nose is the only thing exposed on a cold winter ride, I put sunscreen on my nose.

Sunblock is part of my morning regimen. I shower, shave and put on sunblock. If I'm going to be outside, I cover more parts of my body with it. Texas sun is strong.
I use Coppertone SPF 45, by the way.

Yep, I really resisted putting on sunblock at first but now, won't go outdoors without it. It scares me to think all those early years, all day in the sun without any protection.
I'm sorry for all who has/had skin cancer, I hope it's gone for good.

Yep. Everytime.
I use Neutrogena SPF45 Sunblock. It blocks both UVA and UVB. The spray is really nice.
I switched to sunblock from sunscreen this year and it has made a big difference.

I wear a thin, wool long sleeve undershirt and leggings, even in the heat of a So Cal Summer. That really cuts down on my sun exposure. Aloe Gator gel #45 sun block on my face and neck.
I squirt water on my sleeves and leggings when it gets too hot, and I'm actually cooler than if I had bare arms and legs.
