Why does nature always call AFTER I've bibbed up?

I mean, is it some kind of Universal Law or something???

BluesDawg 09-27-07 06:32 PM

Because you haven't learned to go before you put them on.

It's the child in you:D My kids never had to go until I finished putting their snowsuit on them:(

cgallagh 09-27-07 06:41 PM

Exactly why I will not wear bibs. Access is everything.

CrossChain 09-27-07 06:42 PM

Nashbar has a pair of bibs with a 2 button flap in back. Would go well with our new jersey.

The Weak Link 09-27-07 06:42 PM

The bubbling sound that PowerAde makes when you pour them into the waterbottles?

cyclinfool 09-27-07 07:10 PM

Depends make great seat pads, you don't have to by the gell filled shorts and you can get that warm feeling on a cold morning.

Must say I'm enjoying this thread.

Metric Man 09-27-07 07:16 PM

There are younger guys in my riding group who find that really amusing. If I last long enough for them to age, I 'll laugh last.

I found a picture of DG in his bib

Mayhaps you need to adjust when you are taking your pills in relation to when you are bibbing up?

Nice Pic of Mr. Gee there Tom.

No problem, just whip off the jersey and drop the bibs.

zonatandem 09-27-07 09:27 PM

Do some minor re-dong of bib: cut a hole in front . . .

That could be dangerous when DG goes out for a ride along the San Diego beaches.

soma5 09-27-07 10:04 PM

I man had been meant to wear bibs, we'd have been born with, um, a different, um, ah, configuration...

SaiKaiTai 09-27-07 11:03 PM

Chalk one up for shorts. I don't have that problem

maddmaxx 09-28-07 04:40 AM

Universal bicycle laws!

You will always have to go after the bibs are on.
The foot still clipped in will be on the side your falling toward.
The next downhill will not take anywhere as long as the next uphill.
Tires know when you forgot your pump.
Traffic coming from behind, traffic coming from in front and you will always meet at the same spot...............and the road will be narrow there.

:)

velcro or what. Hope it is a high top style short in case the straps get snagged on something.

George 09-28-07 06:53 AM

Depends, those diapers for older people, would work.

cyclezealot 09-28-07 07:01 AM

I hate those cold breezes tho wizzing about my hind quarters. Reason to wear drawers, in spite of the underwear nazi.
