Doing well George. Mixed weather (cool and wet at the moment ) but this time of year offers more of the good stuff than the wet stuff.

Give a yell when you get to Adelaide

I have tried several times to update the photos but am having no luck, ( why does everyone use Macs over here?)

Weather warm windy and UpHill.

Went out to Salibury with a team today for a 40 km ride at av speed of 28 km/hr

Was sucking wheels all the way back to Adelaide.

( I should have taken the trailer off )

It's not the Macs i have problems with its the old software that all my friends use on their Macs, if they updated I could upload no problem, I'll find a fast connection one day too.

the trip is going well and I am have met a few other cyclists along the way.

Must update my blog too ( sorry)

there are some photos that I have managed to "slowly" upload, but then my time runs out in the internet cafes.

More to come from Down under

Once you make it to Sydney you're welcome to use my (or work's connection). In fact, maybe we could do a story about you (we're newspaper publishers).

If you're travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne, don't pass up the opportunity to ride the Great Ocean Road.

Way cool - sounds like quite the trip. We are in the midst of making plans for a trek from the US to Oz in about 14 months, biking will be involved but not as extensive as your trip as we got to visit rellies from Adelaide to Melbourne to Sydney to Brisbane. One trip I've been think of is the Great Ocean Walk.

Anyhow, hope you get pictures up!

so many people have told me about the Great Ocean Road I am glad that I have decided to ride it. I will let you all know how I get one next weekend. Just got the map and info from a tourist info place, looks quite an interesting ( ie hilly) ride.

thanks for the feedback folks, glad some of you are enjoying it with me.

Blog and photos have been updated

Seen my first wild Koala bear, :-) up in a tree with a baby on it's back, I thought they were marsupials with a pouch??

And in Mount Gambier I hand fed wombats in a sunken garden.

Kakman
Freycinet and Wineglass Bay are on my ( evergrowing) list of places to visit.

I am beginning to think the same. Seems like everyone but me has seen one or 3 or 5!!

but i am still enjoying Tasmania, it is a spectacular island. I am so glad I came over.
