Alternate Transportation

My weekends won't be spent on the bike - the ski hill opens on Friday and this will be my weekend getaway for the next 4 months. This is what it looked like today - making snow around the clock.

We've got Bristol Mtn. (a lousy 1000' drop) and Swain near us. Alas,
I put away my skis in the Spring of '79 and never got them back out.
Lotsa reasons for not sking any more, but I won't bore everyone to
death with them here. Sounds like good times ahead for you. Enjoy!

Hey, what about one of those ski-bikes?

Looks great. When my wife and I lived in Reading, PA, we skied Hunter Mountain. So far this year, our preferred resorts are not open yet.

I have skiied Hunter a few times - but I prefer to leave my walther at home.
Favorite ski places for someone in San Francisco - let me guess - Alpine Meadows?
