Anyone know of such a beast?

EDIT: Never mind, found it. Specialized makes a white Avatar.

Is this the next step toward wearing an all-white cycling ensemble, replete with white shoes & white helmet?

You will cut quite the dashing figure, DG.

I am looking for black and white "saddle" shoes, as a matter of fact. You know, bike shoes that look like the saddle shoes of the 50's. I have a white helmet.

Check here for the Selle Italia Prolink Light if you're up for considering an alternative:
http://www.selleitalia.com/eng/index.html and click to "Road", then click on the white Prolink Light.

For sale at $89 at Colorado Cyclist (cheapest I found): http://www.coloradocyclist.com/product/item/SELKBS31

Anyway....it has a flat top and listed at 144mm width which is sort of medium. A friend has one and likes his. And.................it is WHITE. If you can find a Max Flite Gel in white, it is wider still and equally flat across the top.

Roughly similar to an Avatar.

This is a sad and familiar pattern. You start with just trying white bicycle equipment. Next thing, you're asking strangers if they know a dealer.

Quit while you still can.

If Gary gets any more white articles of clothing, he'll have to change his avatar to Digital Gandalf.

So, if you're going to change your avatar to Digital Gandalf, how about these shoes:

I use the Avatar saddle in standard black and really like it, but that white one just doesn't look like it would be very comfortable.

Isn't a saddle the size of an avatar just a bit small to perch on??

Oh... Avatar, not avatar. Nevermind...
