You know what would be cool?

In kind of a dorky cool way?

If there was "Bike Scouts".

You could earn your mountain bike badge, road bike badge, commuting badge, rando badge, touring badge...

Your birthday ride badge, your various century badges, your rain-riding badge, X-miles per year badge

Your mechanics badge, your high tech toy badge, your clipless badge

Your uniform would be green and yellow lycra!

Why Green and yellow?- thought red and white would be your colours.

You're right. Since before Christmas, I've been mostly hanging around the house waiting for work men to show up. Yesterday and today they've been installing a gas insert in the fireplace. I don't have any actual work to do right now, and I get so bored doing all the "downtime" tasks.

But I still think it's a cool concept. There's Dog Scout camp, too, which also looks fun to me, but a bit too rigid.
