Let's see...started in June '05 with the Trek 3900.

Added the Cypress XS.

Added the '80s Univega, converted to SS

Sold the Univega

Added the Trek 1500

Added the two cruisers

Sold the Trek 1500

Sold the Trek 3900

Sold the two cruisers

Added the Specialized Roubaix

Added the Fuji Thrill

Eight bikes, less than three years. The math's getting complicated!

That poor, poor Cypress.

It's a SX, not a XS.

I really feel for that bike.

Not sure I knew about the Univega single speed. How did that go?

I meant SX. I'm tired.

The Univega was a blast, but it was just too big for me, and I couldn't make enough adjustments. SS was fun, though. I paid $25 for the bike (before alterations).

The problem in the math equation is in the third line. You've misplaced the exponents on the numerator of the partial derivative. No, make that the fourth line.

It will not be long until Bike #9 is acquired.

I predict that you will enjoy trail riding and decide that you might also enjoy going over a bump or two while doing so. This will make a suspension bike very attractive. And you will see the small sum that you paid for your Thrill will have been justified.

I predict that if you're prediction is correct, his bones will rattle like a bag of teeth and that he will come to wish that he had been disabused of such a notion, even before a trip over the handlebars provides a more definitive statement about the wisdom of your prognostications.

Took less than 24 hours. I brought home my friend's Peugeot Mojave Desert bike. I've posted another thread with pics.

This is nuts!

Now I'm scouring Craigslist for another leaning wall stand for two bikes, and a repair stand, and...and...and...

I have 8 bikes currently. How did this happen?

I'll lighten the stable in the spring.

URGENT NOTICE TO THE PEOPLE OF SAN DIEGO

Lock your bicycles! It is urgent that you secure your bicycles!

Bring them inside your homes. Use heavy chains.

There is a madman on the loose and he is scooping up bicycles left and right.

Where oh where is Webb Diego when we need him?

What a piker! I hope you're turning a profit on these bikes so that you can practice continual upgrades to your stable.

At work I keep an 8x10 Bike of the week poster of bikes I've owned/flipped. It's up to week 24 now, but I'm about to stall.
