Would you ride in this jersey?

This is on scambay right now. Would you ride with this jersey on your back? Or maybe a better question is would your mate let you ride wearing it!

No, a bit over the top for me. Guess I'm just too conservative sometimes. Howver, I wouldn't object if someone else wanted to wear it!

It might cause DG to crash into me. On the other hand, I might be crazy enought to ride in this:

Little Darwin 01-25-08 10:18 AM

I don't think it captures the spirit of the poster with only showing a few ladies... and is it cut/paste as it just doesn't look right.

So, in other words, no... but I'm not opposed to the idea of promoting the particular album. ;)

BSLeVan 01-25-08 10:32 AM

Depends on what's on the backside and if it's the right size.;)

MKahrl 01-25-08 10:42 AM

Bad jersey but fantastic poster.

maddmaxx 01-25-08 11:10 AM

Couldn't ride in it...............its not the bellbottom cut.............:D

swan652 01-25-08 11:19 AM

No. If I were wearing it I couldn't look at it. Just once in my life I'd like to be on location when they take these photographs...

Edit: I'm not a perv, I just appreciate fine photography. :D

chevy42083 01-25-08 11:56 AM

I'd buy it for a riding partner :D

j/k I'd wear it.... but wouldn't spend a ton on it. Also wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

stapfam 01-25-08 12:10 PM

Depends on whether you like other riders in extreme proximity to you.

Pat 01-25-08 01:01 PM

No I would not be caught dead in the thing. Men have a bad enough reputation without making things worse. It would be like wearing a "kick me" sign on my bicycle shorts.

The Weak Link 01-25-08 01:32 PM

No. Too much porno out there as it is.

I once ordered a "Global Warming" jersey. It had a mushroom cloud from a nuclear detonation. It was cool. Unfortunately, it had a black skull and crossbones on the back which my wife said can be interpreted as a neo-Nazi symbol, so back the jersey went.

Sure. Why not? There's not a politically correct bone in my body.
But I'd rather have the person I'm following wear it.

zacster 01-25-08 04:31 PM

I would rather just be on the ride where the photo was taken. Seattle? or Sydney?

Mojo Slim 01-25-08 06:12 PM

I'm not sure. Could I see a larger photo of it?

roccobike 01-25-08 07:32 PM

No way.

Terex 01-25-08 07:40 PM

It just reminds me of the '70's.

The 70's....mmmmmmm....

Tom Bombadil 01-25-08 08:30 PM

No I wouldn't. But it would be a lot better than me wearing no jersey at all.

michaelas6 01-25-08 08:52 PM

Nope, I find it best not to antagonize people in traffic.

alicestrong 01-25-08 09:34 PM

Eh...boring. Like we really need more pictures of objectified women.

You're right. It should be "fatbottom girls" cut.

I think this is the first time I've read that term in this century. I wonder if post baby boomers even know what it refers to.

EDIT: Not disputing you alicestrong. Just thinking about the mindset among those in the Britney-Lindsay-Paris generation.

Thanks for setting me straight. I thought it was girls on bicycles.
