No ride in summer gear today!
 

Just two days ago I posted a thread about my first ride of the year in summer gear. Not today though. Temp 22F; snowing (sideways); winds 26 gusting to 36. :( Interstate 80 closed again. Talked to the road maintenance guys yesterday (about signs for our June bike race) and he said they were all just plumb worn out from this winter's weather imposed work load.

Judging by the weather reports, if I can find some non-rainy hours during the weekend, I will be in leg warmers, cool weather jersey and wind jacket.

Spring in Canada and the northern U.S.A can be very unpredictable, as you know.

After a week with temps in the 70s here in NYC, it hasn't gone much above 60 this week with rain.

At least I can still get out.

Gusting to 56 here now. On the hill just east of here gusting to 69mph.
