I followed her career in the racing mags years ago, before the internet, when she dominated womens cycling. Looks like she still has it.

Wow! Everyone was talking about how old she was when I watched her win the Olympic road race in Atlanta in '96.

Thanks for posting. I remember reading about her two or three decades ago. I think she's between Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter in age.

Hi,
I was in a race with her a few years ago. Took the opportunity to talk with her briefly. She has been a living legend for almost as long as I have been in the sport. Oh, she finished the race, I didn't. :rolleyes: |
