Bought this leftover 2006 Fuji Finest 1.0 WSD for my 48 year old, 5' 8 3/4" (she refuses to say 5' 9") wife late last month. It is a 54cm (largest of the WSD in this line) aluminum frame with carbon seat stay and fork, 105/Ultegra mix and weighed in right at 20 lbs. before pedals, bottle cages, etc. were added (its is a 20 speed). She tried a lot of bikes but this one fit her the best. And at 50% off list, I was quite happy with it as well.

+1 for the Specialized Ruby, a friend of mine, who from your description is about your size, just got one last week, she's loving it.

White is a bad thing if you don't like going fast, having the sexiest looking bike in the neighborhood, don't want to shave a few ounces of pigment weight from your bike, and so on. I've posted a list of ten reasons to get a white bike way back when, and the list is probably only a partial list anyway.

Love my Specialized Ruby. It rides smooth as butter. And our roads are notoriously bumpy in Sonoma County. My recommendation is to give a Roubaix or Ruby a test ride. Very popular bike in this forum, and for good reason! Good luck with your search.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the great tips and let you all know that I purchased a new Roubaix Elite Triple today. It's gorgeous, I love it, and I think it's exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks again for all the help!
