If I've used a torque wrench, then yes.

CACycling 06-12-08 12:19 PM

How does one measure the torque on the forque?

If they put wheels on forks for the dinner table, how could you pick up food with them? Would you just lick the pie off the spokes?

If you let 10 pounds of air out of your tires would the bike become 20 pounds lighter?

I'll let you know, later. We're having choice of peach or cherry. We may need to control some of the variables such as type of crust, fruit, served warm, a la mode, etc. to have valid and reliable answers.

We need another poll for this.

The Smokester 06-12-08 01:41 PM

Right. Pie on the end of a pole.

Glad you're keeping things on-topic. Some say the 50+ Forum is too foo-like. As for meI prefer to lick the pie directly from the spoke nipples.

Can I post here if I'm only 45**********

Terrierman 06-12-08 01:47 PM

I'm sorry, I forgot the question? Please excuse me, I'm an old parent.

My elbow hurts if I use the fork....that is why I use a spoon...it also allows me to pick up a little of the rich milk that the pie is smothered in...................peace

Sir! I was speaking about pie and bicycles. I'm quite certain I have no idea what you're talking about.

Tom Bombadil 06-12-08 03:20 PM

I'll let you know. I just picked up a locally-made raspberry & peach pie today. Unfortunately, I opted for the small size. I was afraid I might run into my doctor.

Timtruro 06-12-08 05:31 PM

It may hurt if the pi R square.

That's the name of a restaurant in Wilton, WI, right along the Elroy-Sparta Trail. Although it might now be out of business as it was for sale last year.

Be sure to offer him a piece.

I will try it and let you know. I will however need to use a torque wrench when I put the fork back on the bike. Should I try the steel fork or the carbon fiber fork? I suspect my tennis elbow will flare back up with the extra weight of the steel fork. Should I have the wheel on the fork when I try to pick up the pie? All this sounds like too much work, I'd rather ride then go disassembling my bikes for such an experience.

Tom Bombadil 06-12-08 06:42 PM

Doctor, Doctor ... my eye hurts every time I take a drink of my hot chocolate!

This needs to be posted in the Mechanic's Forum.

For shame!

You have been around here much loner than I but I respectfully disagree - I think it belongs in the Training and Nutrition Forum - weight lifting and pie eating - just sayin...
