Now this is what I call "Lunch"
Been telecommuting more lately... as long as the boss allows it, I save money on gas.
I also get to spend more time with the dog.
But, mostly, I get to do stuff like this for lunch.
A quick 10-20 miles, then I come back and eat. Nice.
I'm learning that 27 is the new 30. More like 25 is the new 27. Teeth, that is.
A lot of these climbs once needed a 30T... but that's ancient history
What's cool is that not long ago, these climbs still needed a 27T
Today I did a good part of this with my 25T.
As I've said many times before, it's nice to revisit a spot you haven't ridden in a few weeks and see a change in your abilities.Nothing like a little positive reinforcement.
So all of you who scoffed about me coming home sore: stress=strength
Aching muscles do not mean you're doing something wrong.
They mean you're doing something right.

Gee whiz.
A thread about lunch and biking with no mention of pie.
What a letdown!
I biked to lunch, riding a couple of miles to a nice Indonesian restaurant. Tried an entre that I had never heard of before, and can't remember it now, but it was good.

How many teeth in the front are paired with the 25t in the rear?

Ahem. Yes, well, now this is where I wimp out.
I am using my 30T up front.
Yes, the granny gear.
There goes the air out of that balloon
But, hey, it's going from using a 30/30, to a 30/27, to a 30/25
It's still progress, after a fashion. Isn't it?
Hey, I take it back, sort of... I just checked and the LeMond comes with a SRAM PG-950 cassette. That's a 12-26 NOT a 12-27. Wow.
