I have a Sun EZ-Rider AX. This was the top of the line EZ-Rider, which Sun discontinued in 2007. It shaves off several pounds by using an aluminum frame. But, as EZ-Riders do, it adds a few back by having a heavy-duty soft-tail shock absorber.

I haven't ridden it much so far this year, maybe only 80-100 miles. I plan to ride it more over the next few weeks. I've found that there are muscle groups that don't get worked on a diamond frame bike that let you know real quick on a bent that they are not in good shape. Haven't gotten past that yet.

I listened to DG about how fast a white bike is. He's full of it.

Wish they had a black frame to fit me. I'm still slow on a white bike and the
white bike is a pain trying to keep half way clean.

I have the three bikes in my signature. Besides sharing the tandem, my wife has a Rans Stratus, and the old Easy Racers version of an EZ-1.

hmmmmmmmm....................my white bike usually looks like it's been through the hogwash---and it's less than 2 months old.

I have a yellow Bacchetta Giro 20 that I bought a month ago and accessorized with black fenders, a rear rack and kickstand. I've also added a mirror and a Kryptonite lock.

I've used it on a trip around Pinnacle Mountain, one trip to Lake Maumelle and two 50 mile trips around Lake Maumelle. I'm now training myself to attempt a Century in two weeks at the Big Dam Bridge 100.



I only have one problem. What kind of stickers should I put on it so that the teens in the apartment complex don't think it's cool, ie tempting.

EZ S;ort AX here. I love the thing, so much comfort and so little pain. They are sturdy, nice rides. I needed sturdy because I was 290 lbs when I got it. Now I'm 230. You got to work it off. bk

Blue 2007 Rans Stratus XP, purchased on June 23, 2007. First bike in 15 years. Have ridden 1,750 miles since then, and loved almost every minute of it.

2007 Giro 26 just turned 2,200 miles for the year.

Have a LWB Burley that started out life as a Koosay. Replaced the seat with a RANS seat, then most of the other components with high end stuff as they wore out after 4 or 5 thousand miles. I replaced the cranks with 153mm cranks from 'Bikesmith Designs' and geared the front triple rings down a bit to make up for it, because of a previous stroke and weak left leg, which now is completely gone, thanks to that bike!
I'd probably have an upright bike or two in my stable, particularly for off road MTB'ing, but get severe pain, weakness and numbness in the left leg if I ride an upright much.
The bent handles everything from paved roads to loose gravel rails to trails paths just fine, so guess I'll have to live without any serious single tracking. Climbs well with the shorter cranks and lower gearing, and I find I spin up hills at about the same speeds as the upright guys in a similar age and fitness group.
Looking at a Rans V3 aluminum for more serious roading. Maybe next year.......

Spitfire RS 24 trike and a Windcheetah. When I want two wheel, I ride a regular DF bike, either offroad or on, but the trikes are first choice.

Brand new Sun EZ Sport CX here. Got 6 miles on it so far just tooling
around the neighborhood. Looking forward to getting out of work
Thursday A.M. so I can take a longer ride.

EDIT: Took that ride, and loved every minute of it!!!!

BTW, I just went over the 5000 mile mark since I got it about 1 3/4 years ago.
