Now to celebrate go out and buy a computer for your bike so you don't have to use the truck to check your mileage and progress.

Way to go. Rides over 15 miles must be documented with pictures, however.

Pretty simple wired ones can be bought for around $12. You'll get mph and and odometer + trip meter.

Congrats on your ride.
I had a great ride of 21 miles, to top off a most excellent day. Temps in the low 70s, low humidity, mostly sunny skies. However I needed 1:50 of ride time, with an average speed of 11 mph. So you would quickly drop me already!
This was on my bent with new tires. Switched out my semi-off-road 1.75" Kenda Kwist for 1.5" Schwalbe Marathon Racers. The new tires are very nice and make almost no noise when on pavement. The Kwist were very noisy and felt like they were always slowing down the bike.
My time might have been better if I had double checked my disc brake and wheel settings after riding a short distance. Because 17 miles into my ride, I was wondering why I was getting a bit tired and having to push more than normal and after checking the wheels, I found the inside disc brake pad was rubbing. With all of the noise riding on the gravel bike trail, I hadn't heard it. It was definitely rolling better after adjusting the pads! I had quickly checked this after mounting the tires, but things must have drifted just a bit as I rode.
No pie for me today, but I did gobble up a 4-pack of Hershey's chocolate coated peanut butter cookies.
