Thanks - I am still on cloud 9. I came in first in the 2K pursuit (women's 55-59) to claim a gold medal and national championship in the Masters National Track Championship held at the Hellyer Velodrome in San Jose, CA. My time was 2:59.66. My goal was to do a sub-3 minute, pass my pursuit person - and win, and somehow I managed to pull it off. This is almost a fairy tale for me considering that my first time on the track with a track bike was August 23 (a mere 11 days before the event). I am very thankful to a lot of people for making this happen for me (inspiration, coaching and loaning me an awesome bike) - full story and more pics to follow.

Fantastic!

Were you riding Wicked or that Nasty Bumblebee? Or a different bike entirely?
