My 50th Year...

...has started! In 366 days I will be 50+! It has been a year since returning to cycling. A year ago I had given my MTB to my oldest son because I never rode it. I'm now looking forward to the purchase of my 4th bike (N+1) and have passed the 2,600 mile mark for the year. Who'd have thought? Not me.

And my presents this year were padded tights (winter is approaching), chain whip (wife was upset when she found out it was a bike tool  ), BB wrench and pie. I've been having more fun than I've had in years, am in better shape than I've been in decades and my wife has been bitten almost as hard as I so we're riding a lot together.

Thanks to all here and throughout BF for the advice, support and comic relief. Great bunch of people here and I look forward to many years here and in the saddle. You're all the best! :D

Congrats and welcome aboard!

See, you really can "come back" to cycling.
Ride well and ride safely.

I've been looking. I've come close on a couple of older ones that needed a bit of work. Can't invest much at this point as I'm looking to buy a new road bike before year end and I haven't convinced my wife that we "need" a tandem. I am keeping an eye out for a deal I can't pass up on one.
