Today's ride... With pics.

Perfect day. Started with the temps in the middle 50's and ended in the middle 60's with a bit of a breeze. Did 32 miles and a bit of climbing. Looks like the rest of the weekend is going to be more of the same. Too bad the leaves are a bit past peak but still beautiful.

Beautiful but in a couple of months whats it going to look like. I love fall in the mid west and atlantic states its the winters I can do without. If I were retired I really don't think I would mind the snow since I could choose whether to venture out or stay by the fire with a nice hot cup of coffee.

Thank You. Your pics have captured the very reason my bride and I love
rideing around the Northeast in October. Our drive through the southern
portion of NY's Finger Lakes region yielded similar views. The colors are
peaking here now and if the weather holds off I'll get a chance to bike
around some on Wednesday and Thursday (but they're calling for rain).

Brown trout, Bass (large and small) and pike. Stopped fishing years ago. But very much enjoyed putting the canoe in a few miles east of here and floating down the river. The river is the Winooski.

No ride here today, 3" snow on the ground and the weather says WInter Storm Warning until 6 PM Sunday. Would appear that my cycling season has slammed to a close a bit early this year,

It was easily 10 degrees warmer than normal today, with clear skies and a light breeze. Perfect for a fall ride to take in the colors! So we did a metric century to Pleasant Lake for brunch.

Joe was the other recumbent on the ride:

My NoCom. Notice the custom kickstand.

Showing a bit of fall colors:

Here I am in my accustomed position, except that they're awfully close!

That picture of the riders from behind is fantastic: great action, great color. Having your foot in the shot makes it even better. Nice work.

And that is the meanest looking bent I have ever seen. It looks fast just sitting there.
