July Bicycling mag
I was just cleaning up a stack of old magazines and found an unopened July issue of Bicycling magazine. Can anyone tell me if I missed anything?

I don't know. I don't think BengeBoy or The Weak Link read that one to me.

I've stopped picking on Bicycling magazine. Too easy of a target, and I recently found myself renewing my subscription...so I guess if I read it enough to re-subscribe I should stop complaining.
Still, such a disappointment...they do seem to just keep recycling the same things over and over, and are constantly sucking up to their advertisers.
I just got the new issue in the mail this weekend...pretty thin - even for a winter issue; I'm guessing the recession can't be helping their ad sales. I counted four full-page "house ads" in the magazine (ads for various Rodale press products), which means those are pages they couldn't sell or didn't sell.

I don't even need to see it to tell you that you didn't miss anything. They've been printing the same issue with different ads for the last 10 years at least.

I recently moved, that's what it took for them to stop sending it to me. Now I've gone and done it, I shouldn't have mentioned it, they'll probably find me now. Of all the magazines that end up piled on the toilet tank, Bicycling always ends up at the bottom...even catalogs are far more interesting.
