Bike Theft - no one is immune
ATLANTA - Not even a former president is immune from thieves.
Two bicycles belonging to President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, were snatched from inside the Carter Center near downtown Atlanta earlier this month. Story link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28626714/?GT1=43001 |
I've only had one bike stolen, and fortunately it was recovered by police detectives. Still a bummer when it happens, but I'm sure the Carters can afford replacements.

The stolen bikes were a couple of Specialized Globes that were given to the Carters. Maybe if Mr. Carter had thrown papers to earn the money to buy the bikes, he would have taken better care of them. :)

That's what he gets for boycotting the '80 Olympics.

The Carters are too old to ride anyway.

Mr. Bush is going to ask the Secret Service to keep a close eye on his mountain bike.
