A gentle ride
After covering in excess of 250km over the last week, I decided to have a quiet ride today. Along the beach. Beautiful autumn morning. No wind. Just ticked along gently. 25 km total with an average heartrate of 101 (yes, I did ride the bike, my HR was probably higher driving home among all the idiots on the roads).

It's nice to just get out and just cruise a lazy ride. My eyes work better when my heart rate is down, it's amazing what I notice then.

I know the feeling of recovery rides. Monday's 45 minute spin was great, just tooling along, thinking bout things and even keeping an eye out for morel mushrooms along the roadside.
