No. Really I did. I was coming off a 60 mile ride along the central coast when I turned onto El Camino Real. Four riders were turning on from the next street ahead. As I was catching up, the biggest, obviously most powerful rider, pulled to the lead. As I was passing the lead rider I heard one of the riders yell something. I couldn't hear what he said but it had to have been something like "damn, what a strong rider" Just as I was pulling away I heard him again. This time the wind picked up his voice and I heard him clear as a bell. "MaaahhhhMMMM slow down"!!!! The whinny little brat couldn't keep up with his mom.

Pink bikes with tassels aren't nearly as fast as they look.

I put speedplays and a B17 on mine and I still can't keep up on those club rides.:eek:

Oh man throw in a "drope," "hamer," and "dial" it up to 400, and this thread has potential. ;)

Were their legs shaved?

Did you give them "the look"?

A mom on a Huffy with a newborn in a trail along and an 8 year old daughter on a pink bike do not a paceline make. :D

I passed a bird today.

Boy did it hurt.

No mention of ON YOUR LEFT as you were passing so it doesn't count.
