My little bump in the road

Here's a video I did with the help of "Google streetview" highlighting the climb I encounter when leaving from the house. About 90% of my rides start from my driveway because of the great selection of traffic free routes right out of the nieghborhood. The largest state park in the state is 1/2 mile from the entrance to the subdivision. Nice bike lanes with rolling terrain. The only kicker is this little steep hill I have to climb to get back to the house. The good thing is it has made me a better climber. Four years ago when I moved here, I had to "paperboy" it to get to the top. Now even after a long hard ride I just ride straight up. Enjoy!

At least you get the reward of some good downhill runs..........43mph is scary.

Looks like a lot of fun in both directions!

Cool video. Why did you use Google if you had the camera?
What camera were you using and how did you mount it?

What kind of road surface is that - looks almost like packed, chip seal?
Looks like you put a lot of work into it - good job.

Actually I started the video a couple of months ago as just a "Street View" screen shots of the ride out and back. That was when bussiness was slow and I was bored. I later decided to add a littles real video. Very primative setup, just a Sony Handicam mounted on the handlebars with my treestand camera mount.

Well done! Nice looking ride.

If I tried to do that, I'd either crash or get electrocuted by the gadgetry.
