Just 25 mi today. Beautiful day though - sunny in the 70s, first ride this season in short sleeved jersey. Hooray. Can't wait for it to get a bit warmer for some nite rides.

102.6 miles with 3800’ of climbing. I rode with some other riders for the first time in months. After doing a lot of 100+ mile solo rides, it was nice getting the advantages of riding with a group. We had 10 riders so it was a nice sized group. I have done several rides with most of the riders so I was comfortable riding with them. For two of the riders it was their first Century so it was fun helping them get to the finish. There weren’t any long or steep hills so I only used the big ring.
The temperatures got warm after noon but it was okay as long as we were moving. A young kid handed us flavored ice pops out the window of a van while passing us which was both a surprise and a nice treat!!

I’m in the bright green jersey on the right.

First ride in a month. I could not handle all the pollen this year, so I just stayed indoors! No HRM today; no cyclometer, no watch even! I think I rode about 1.5 hours, JRA. No goals. No stress. Just turning the cranks. I did take the DeRosa. Man, what a sweet ride.
Photo to come.

22 rolling miles today. Temps were perfect in low 70s when I started but they rose quickly and we got the first 80 degree temps this year and worse...first high humidly of the season.
I also didn't eat a proper breakfast (just cereal and coffee) and halfway through the ride had to eat my energy bar AND my Gel. At seventy you would have thought I had learned a thing or two...but I wanted to get out quickly before it got hot.
LOOK 585 rode stellar though.

10 miles on my little cutoff loop this morning, and just finished a 1 mile scout of my usual walking route, which is considerably hillier. Made it just fine, and will probably start doing some laps of that on occasion, to get some hill into these legs.

My 14 mile ride again. Had a deer shoot across the path, second later she would have nailed me.

This is my local MUP, I can see the trail from my porch. I also see a lot of the same people. It's a pleasant ride with associated wildlife

Thanks for the update. I think I may have cracked some ribs too, they are the last thing still bothering me. My road rash is all healed over and hip and shoulder swelling is gone. The last of the scab on my head fell off, I'm good 'cept for the old mc ribs. But they should be OK by the weekend, I'm hoping.

Check out these two fellas on roller blades that came up behind us on Saturday’s ride for some free drafting. We were going down a gradual hill and probably going 21-22 mph. They were standing in a parking lot when we rode by not too far up the road and they managed to catch us. I was impressed! But no way I’d be rollerblading shirtless in shorts!!

Maybe 6 miles in two separate stints – first to get the mail and then an evening jaunt with my wife and daughter.
