Another beautiful, though excessively windy (15 mph?), day. Almost 13 miles. Low-mid 60s, sunny, blue skies, blue lake. The wind ... I guess I always have trouble with the wind, but I'm so glad I rode. Tomorrow looks good for riding, too.

Nothing major, did 13 on the MTB, but it was with an unexpectedly big group of friends so that made it a great day.

Today’s ride. When I left the house it was really nice, but by the time I reached the bay it got really windy.

On Sat. the 20th. got my first ride on my new Giant Escape 3 Comfort Hybrid, quite a change from the RANS Fusion "crank forward" bike I was riding and the recumbent trikes before that!! Gona take a bit before the body get's use to the DF style of riding, been since 2012 since my wife and I had "these type machines"!
Do like the fast feel of the 700C x 38 tires and having "no front wheel flop" that the Fusion has a bit of going up hills!! Later that Sat. afternoon we picked up Jo's LIV Alight 3, but sadly she only got to ride it from the shop to the apt. (3-4 miles) as it had to be built up out of the box and was close to 5 PM. by the time it was finished up. Major Bummer of So. CO. spring weather, Sat. 60 F Sunny with some light wind, Sunday 40 GRAY, spitting rain, grapple turning to SNOW with more here today on Monday morning so it's going to be a few days before we get to ride again! I got in around 20 miles RT for my first ride, looking forward to more!

Brown Bag Lunch Stop on the Shooks Run Trail here in Co. Springs, CO. Sat. March 20.

Did a joyride today because the sun was shining, but was completely pooped from the weekend. Sometimes a slow ride is all you need tho

After waiting for a new wheel and cassette for three months, I've finally been riding quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. I've mostly been on rail-trails with my hardtail, as the MTB trails were first far too wet then too busy. (I was going to try building some pump track skills yesterday, but people with RC cars were there.)
Anyway, as I rode by a group of people at a covered bridge, a child said, "That is a cool bike!" I've never had a cool car, but I've got a cool bike! (It's a green Kona Honzo).

Longest single ride since fall today, 48km/29.8miles. I was tempted to push to 50km, but I was getting a bit drained. It wasn't quite nonstop, though, as I stopped to try to get the bug out of my throat. It wasn't pleasant. I also stopped for a photo.

I rode 50 miles solo Monday and 40 miles with a group on Tuesday. I’ve walked 18 holes every morning this week.

14 miles, Coral Cove Park to Jupiter Island Church and back, nice weather, a bit sweat in eyes and numb arms near the end but overall pleasurable ride.

1.25 hours today. It's hard to go slow, but when you're hauling 200+ pounds, you gotta start somewhere.

Got in 17 miles of pelvic fracture recovery spinning yesterday. Will go for it again. PT still doesn't want me doing hills so I stick to the flats and light spinning.
