Did you ride today?

25+ miles, sunny, light wind, low 70s.Since I no longer like cold weather, I wore a windbreaker on the 2nd half of the ride (against the light wind) Man, 10 years ago I would have reveled at these temperatures....
I think I've ridden more miles this year than any other year since 2013. Unless I'm very unlucky, I'll hit 1200 miles for 2021 on my next ride, and I expect there will be more than a few days with good weather left this year.

35K out and back. On the out it was the head wind, on the back it was the real possibility of rain.
First day back on the m-bike* (* only muscle powered) it was a little smidgen slower than usual.

@Chickenwings - a brisk hour is a big step.
The benefit is in the consistency.
For One hour training =
follow the Lemond Theory:
It never gets easier, you just go faster.

25+ miles, sunny, high 70s, light winds. I've been taking longer breaks (up to an hour, when my son was visiting), and sometimes I've done low energy rides home. Today, I took 9 minutes to eat a cookie, drink some water, and people-watch. No problem on the way home.
Can't read, can't count. My main metric is miles ridden. As of Wednesday, I read the record as 1177 miles for 202,.so I thought today's ride would push me over 1200. It was actually 1173+ up through Wednesday. After today's ride - somehow it got to 1199.07 miles. Rain is predicted for the next 3 days, but I might just ride a mile.

I did yesterday, but was too bushed to record it here. Anyway 61.5 km

As I told the two roadies that passed me on the hilly section: "It's a long way to Tipperary"
Usually on the homestretch going North along the lakes I'd be pushing. None of that yesterday, tired and a headwind??

120 miles spread over 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Saturday's ride was 50 miles in a misty rain. Yesterday was drop dead gorgeous! Perfect autumn weather in the Twin Cities.

Old enough, hmmm?
Sunny, crisp ( 10º C), a bit windy and since it was a Holiday Monday a bit slower on some of the Rail Trail sections (dogs, people and lack of attention).
All in all a good 44+ km ride.

51.9 K with a few extra layers of clothing. Not quite 10º C and a pretty stiff wind. Headwind on the speedy downhill sections is a real bummer.

10 degrees C and I got off my fat azz for a short ride. Made just over 7 k with my current enthusiasm reserve...grin. I know I'm not in the league of many here but I'm posting a bit to hopefully show others that are newer at this that not all of us here are 20+ mile makers.
Anyway, I haven't rode in a while and as I'm still new and building absolutely EVERYTHING related to this sport I had to tap out with knee pain today. Sigh....Lol....here's to hangin in!
Good luck all!!

Too nice not to ride yesterday. ~30 miles and about 64*F. Won’t see a daytime high like that until March or April.

Around a couple of blocks. just got back into cycling after a 20 year pause, because of my doctor's advice. hopefully one day I'll be able to put some impressive miles under my belt.

Dry again so had to ride.

Past the skating rink and Doofers - thankfully, both fully open.

Just about picked out. Local small businesses seem to be getting customers.

The pumpkin, the pigs, the Merckx. Back close to home.

61+ km today; whenever the Rail Trail gets busy — aka the Weekend crowds — I have to slow down just a little bit.
Kids, dogs and sleep walkers.

Big advantage today: thanks to yesterday's rain no flying dust from the gravel.

You must be in better shape than me. after a couple of blocks I'm already breathing a little hard, and that includes coasting a bit. just have to persevere so that I can join the big leagues.
