36.5 miles today. With some time off and the holidays, I have gotten in 376 miles since Nov 18.

I am glad I didnt have to finish in headwinds like that, Pam!

26 miles with a few friends, 2300' of climbing. Nice easy pace (very cold), followed by lunch at a local cafe.

At a stop sign around 6 miles in I told the others I was "done for the day" and would take a side road, then meet them at the tavern when they finished. One of the guys suggested I check my brakes so I opened the levers. Wow!!!, what a difference! I must have bumped one of the brakes getting the bike inside or out of the 4 Runner. I finished the ride with the guys and even took my share of pulls.

29 miles with the Ladies and one (lucky) guy! Super sunny, no wind, dressed right. The hill is getting shorter.

Yesterday, a little bit of hill repeats.

You guys make me feel like I should do more as I only did 10 miles today on local trail here. The trail was soft from the rain, snow and freeze/thaw thing going on here in western PA. I guess I should be glad that I am still riding because alot of people have most likely packed the bikes up for the season.

did you ride today

Yes I did. After two weeks of a bout with 'bad back', I rode the bike to the chiropractor's office this morning for a second visit, then rode 28 easy miles on the bike path and it was good. A bit of a head wind on the return trip but that just builds character.

55 sun filled cloudless miles in Socal. Low 60s when i left low 70s on the return. Lots of birds out today as they are letting water into the catch basins and some of the river beds. Lots of Geese, Ducks, Cranes and a few Herons. Buzzards, Hawks, Seagulls and smaller birds. Slight breeze and very clear air. Went to the Seal Beach and back. Just finished a BLT, pickle, chips and a coke. If the Lakers don't choke it will be a great day.

Don't let those Lakers interfere with your great day. My son and I sloshed around Portland for about an hour. Lots of wet leaf piles and puddles. About 10 minutes spent wiping things down afterwards, but we had fun. I just wish there weren't so many cars in our "bicycle city".

Good resistance workout, including a 2 minute plank and lots of pushups, dumbbell lifts, etc. Then drove the car (2000 Neon) to the auto repair place for its 60,000 mile preventive maintenance check, and walked 2.5 miles home. Then rode the bike to Staples and back to get some office supplies. - 1 hour trip.

Rode a hilly 24 miles last night with high 20's temps and no wind along with two buddies.

Today I started out to ride for 1.5 hrs on the rollers in the basement. The first 40 minutes just flew by. At 45 minutes I got off the bike to "adjust my junk" and never got back on the bike. I just sat in a chair doing nothing except watch the TV. I hope today is not the beginning of a trend.

Only had time for 37 miles today. Started strong but after 45 minutes started to s l o w down. Slight head wind, 65 degrees with high clouds. Went to the foothills, got on top of Santa Fe dam and just turned around and returned home. The wind turned and had about 10 mph quartering head wind. Thought i might squeeze in more, but no, after all, tomorrow is another day!

I was going to say that trainer "miles" don't count, but then I read that you were riding all around the bedroom, so that's OK.

68.7 @ 18.1 ave. Rode with a different club today, who has a faster paced ride (the club ride I have been on has 50 mile rides with a 15 ave). I am thinking I will split time with them and my other club for a while.

Rode with NealH down here near Charleston, SC today. 96 miles in 5:35 ride time, plus a bit more for sag stops. I had the worst calf and hamstring pain in both legs throughout the whole ride. Every pedal stroke pretty much sucked. Thanks to Neal for pulling me around the second half of the ride.
