Was going to take a day off yesterday from all exercise, but didn't make it. A beautiful day, so I ended up with a 15 mile ride.
Sunday 15 mi in the rain.
Monday 84 miles. Past by 9 emergency vehicles on FM 2004. Came upon this. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/h...ercrash006.jpg Yes we ride on that shoulder with a 65 MPH speed limit. Slide Show: http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/h...view=slideshow Tuesday 4 riders, 40 miles. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/h...40miles007.jpg |
25 miles this morning. Wife left coffee for me upon my return. Mmm...
12 miles to pool and back, had an excellent swim.
Good 15 mile after work ride and made it home before what looked to be a lot of rain. Did a little drizzle and that was the end of that.
Did my usual 33 mile route to Stone Mtn on the new bike. Wow!! What a ride!!

Damn good ride!! My wife and I did a ride around Mercer Island then down to Renton and back. That's about 27 miles. What made it so great was NO PAIN! No foot pain/falling asleep and no butt issues!! The new Sidi Genius Pro 5's and Shimano 6700 Ultegra pedals and Fizik Arione saddle made a world of difference!! Great workout and very happy at the end!!

Great ride today! I just keep getting faster. The last ride I did on Tuesday, I had an overall distance/time avg of ~16.8mph. Took yesterday off since Tuesday's ride was the 8th day in a row. Today, for my 20 mile ride, I avg'd 17mph. This is on a mixed terrain. I wonder how fast I could be if I used a road bike instead of an hybrid/comfort?

50 mi with the tri folks.

Beautiful 20 miles following morning resistance and stretching and 45 minute swim.
Couldn't ride yesteday and can't ride today. Have to work late to cover for people on vacation.
Did 33 miles on the Litespeed with a 25 mph headwind, regardless of which direction I was riding.
The usual ride to work and back today, but posting up because I noticed when I logged the ride that I must have passed the 20,000 mile mark last week sometime. Hard to imagine that many miles taken 25-26 at a time (my round trip to work and back).
