The ground was any combination of wet, sandy, salty, icy, slushy, and snowy. It was windy and snowed most of the time. Around 25 miles.
About 32F the last few miles in the dark.

It was perfect !!

The weather report proved accurate--> 32F and sunny, so I rode 13 miles.
First-ever ride with HRM: Exceeded max HR by 10 and thankfully heart didn't explode.
Probably need to spin faster in lower gears to spend more time in aerobic zone.

Congrats.
From wiki: 'In Britain, ton is used in slang in several contexts to mean "100" '
Looks to be used in Oz, too.
Didn't know that.

50 mile coffee ride up to Pt. Richmond and back. Lots of Cherry trees in bloom already, very little wind, temp up to almost 70 by the end of the ride.

Today was the BF Withlacoochee Trail Ride. I got to meet and ride with several nice people on the BF Forum and had a very nice 30 mile ride. Temps could have been a little warmer as the morning winds made it feel even colder. Guys, I really enjoyed meeting and riding with you and we definitely need to do this again.

Edit: stopped at a bake shop along the trail for some pie. They didn't have any pie, so oatmeal raisin cookies had to do.

I was able to get in 25 miles on the local urban bike paths. Weather was a balmy 69° F but the winds were at 22 mph out of the south with 33 mph gusts. I was fairly used up by the time I got back to the house.

23 miles with about 950' of climbing. Strava told the sad tale of my fitness decline since last November. Darn this winter weather.

For the last 4 months, circling around The Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, and a slew of outlying jaunts. Anywhere from 15 miles to 45 miles. Either picking more time to keep the legs moving longer, or serious hills.

Today was serious hills. A short 15 miles, but several ups that really work the system. 60 degrees today. 35 yesterday. 35 tmrw. 20 degrees 2 days ago. All the same. Beautiful to peddle under the splendor of Pikes Peak and the Rockies. I'd be out if it was 0f getting some time in....

Fairly nice weekend of riding for me. 66 miles on the club ride at a moderate 15.0 pace. 37.4 @ 17.6 on a solo ride yesterday. Nice temps in the Valley of the Sun for both days.

Did a short little ride in the hood yesterday. It wasn't as warm as Saturday, but still fab.

I think I have an asphalt fetish.

Today's weather was great! Sunny with blue skies, 70º temp and 12 mph winds. With all that going for me I had a bit of a disappointing 17.7 mile ride today. Started out great with no problems and just zipping along the MUP. Not quite half way through the first lap, the sinus flood gates opened up and that was the end of that. Couldn't stop the sinuses from running and that was killing my breathing. Between the winds and the sinus problem, I was worn out and decided to call it quits after the fist lap.

Nice place to ride, but you should come over to the other end of the county and try Flatwoods.

Weather was not that cooperative for a weekend ride to went out after lunch and did a nice 51 miler. Enjoyed going out and then I turned around into a nice steady headwind.

Half and Half dry pavement, snow and ice. Temp was 21degF and calm winds finally made for a pleasant commute today. More wet snow coming tonight so tomorrows commute is still to be determined.

I got laid off last Thursday so I might have a lot of time to reach my goal of 5K miles for 2013. SE Texas isn't too scenic, but if you don't mind wind and flat asphalt there are many good days to ride. Today was one of them and I did a quick 41 miles after lunch.

It was 70F here in Central Texas yesterday but the wind was terrible with gusts to 35. Weather forecast said the wind would change from South to North during the afternoon. I had an unexpected guest and wasn't able to get away until after one o'clock. It was one of those nightmare rides where almost the whole thing was into the wind or fighting a gusting crosswind as the wind switches directions as the cool front moves in. Thankfully I had one short three mile section with a tailwind that bolstered my dismal average speed to 9.8 mph for the 23 mile run and I was proud of that.

I rode with my 4 year old son a couple of times over the weekend. This afternoon, we put in ten miles(stopping off at two parks) on the tandem before heading off to the YMCA.
