Fast 10 miles indoors today. Still pretty cold 40's, and lots of stuff to do and paperwork for tax season.

Looks like I'm getting rained out today. It would be nice to have a break in the rain long enough to get in a short neighborhood ride with the wife.

Nice to be back in the saddle after working out of town all week. Great ride in this morning, 37degF and calm winds. First ride this season without the studded tires and hiking boots, so the slicks and clipless pedals/shoes made me feel like I was riding the wind. Glad to get rid of the winter gear for another season.

11 miles making it the longest ride of the year! On the other hand the year is just really starting for me as I'm pretty much of a fair weather rider. I usually like to get at least 100 miles of easy, short rides before I start to take things a bit more seriously.

Grand kids 5&3 just left. Wife is post-OP. Teenage daughter is surly. House is an absolute disaster. But it hit 68 out and it's sunny. A man has to do what he has to do. 40 breezy miles.

Cool pictures included: https://app.strava.com/activities/47377792

Strava will synch your Instagram photos. It's magic, I tell you.

Thursday evening I rode 30 miles with a bunch of guys from my usual Saturday morning group ride. Moderate winds and cool temps. The pace was quick for me, but a good workout.

Today I put in a solo 21 miles on the local urban bike paths. Very strong south winds and again cool temps.

Stoker requested riding the last two evenings: 12 miles on the Screamer Thursday and 8 miles on Wednesday.
5 miles alone on the V3 on Tuesday.

My sweetie and I managed 40.50 miles on the tandem, Temps in the mid-40's, moderate wind out of the north. Bright blue sky! Lots of bikes out today.

60 miles today, riding Mines Road out of Livermore up to the junction and back. The ride back down was harder thanks to the head winds, and a rear tire rubbing that I didn't figure out until the very end. At mile 35 I had dropped a chai and when I put it back on, somehow my rear brake pad got jostled and was rubbing slightly. I thought it was just me that was making the ride harder (well, it probably was) but now I have something else to blame it on!
