Had to get an Xray this morning which made me get to the MUP a bit later than I wanted to. Had hoped to get in a 35 mile ride today but was limited to a 15 miler because of the rain showers that started a bit earlier than forecasted. It's suppose to be this way all week.

Just the regular commute, but with very little wind: 5 km uphill thru traffic to work - 12 km home scenic route mostly on MUP.
Hoping to get out this evening on a vintage 10 speed that I'm restoring :>)

I rode to town to pick up dinner, about 1.2 miles each way. Max speed, 29.6 mph. It's uphill going back home.

I'm wanting to say "Yes" to a ride today, but this tropical depression that we are having is telling me otherwise. Very high probability of severe thunderstorms this morning and throughout the day. So far, we have only had some light drizzles.

11.1 miles this morning @ 20.0 ave. expensive ride.. I was not able to avoid a piece of metal and I now need to replace the rear wheel on my Trek 1500. Fortunately I have my Domane 4.5, but preferred the older bike for morning workouts.

Okay, the doctors office and I were playing phone tag and during the ride going around 27+ mph downhill and couldn't stop and answer the phone safely. So, I had to cut my route short and go home--so I could try to chase the nurse down when they started answering the phones again. Ended up only doing 15 miles. I have done fewer than 23 or 25 in a ride for maybe a couple of years. But, 15 miles is better than no miles.

I got in about 16 miles today, including a trip through a local park. I took my binoculars today, and watched ducks feeding, and the ducklings. It was a lot of fun to see, and in color and 3D!

No rain today. We've had blue skies and sunshine all day so I called my buddy Frank and off we went for a very nice 55 mile ride. Tomorrow should be another nice morning as well as Sunday. I would rather see it rain in the afternoons than in the mornings.

Rain and adjusting the pedal tension for the change in cleats(SH-56 SPD multi-release) had me on the trainer this AM--85 minutes.

Yawn, it's 0D3 here and I'm plowing through breakfast waiting for a glimmer of light so I can knock of 50 by 9. Looks to be a nice day with a bit of wind.

A hot and humid 35 miles today. Not much wind, so the water bottle was constantly filled with electrolytes.

Been commuting and the other mundane riding. Today we took the tandem for about 35 miles. Explored a few new roads. The sun came out, and after yesterday that's a great thing!

Thursday: 20 Bike Commuter miles.
Today: 33 miles on the Screamer with 12-15 other teams. A HOOTS (Hoosiers out on Tandems) ride. Only used the granny ring a couple of times for puny hills. Farmland north of Indy is FLAT.

Note the corn:

Decided to ride the old, almost retired, Jamis Aurora Elite today. Took it for a short flat ride with my sister on her Crosstrail. Was passed by a couple of "roadies" and was tempted to see what the bike, or legs, could do, but since riding with my sister doesn't happen that often I chose to relax. The Jamis is now back in the garage collecting dust.

Mmmm, that Jamis is too nice to gather dust, it looks like it just needs you to ride and love it. Send it to me and I'll see that she gets all the TLC possible..............
