No ride for me today. Weather is cloudy, a little chilly, lots of moisture in the air, and I just don't feel like dealing with it.

28 miles with just a bit of climbing. Hadn't ridden in a few days and the inadvertent rest translated to a decent average speed without having to really work. Temps were probably around 60 deg.

10 miles on the tandem late yesterday afternoon with my favorite stoker. Sure gets dark early since the time change!
Rode both my single recumbents today - ten miles on one in the morning and 8 miles this afternoon on the other one.

I just did a little while ago, before the NFL football games came on... It is 68° and cloudy.

https://www.mapmyride.com/workout/432276317

I did 14.5 miles here in the west end of Richmond, Virginia. I rode along Patterson Ave out to West Creek Pkwy (big business complex), turned around and came back. Time: 1 hour, 10 minutes and I burned 1124 calories.

I looked a little funny riding a Schwinn MTB, following along with the roadies on their Specialized, Cannondale, Giant, road bikes. But, what the heck... At least I was out there riding and getting exercise.

30 miles today, about 2K feet climbing. For the Portlanders, we rode up Cornell and Skyline, down and back up Old Germantown Rd, then down Germantown and over the St John's bridge, on which I'm resting below. It was supposed to rain, but didn't.

My buddy and I had all kinds of mechanicals. His (disc) brakes were making worrying chattering and clicking sounds. My front derailleur cage was mis-adjusted giving me constant chain rattle in low gear. My rear fender came loose and clattered like a BSO. After the ride, as I was having a pot of coffee at VeloCult, I saw my rear tubular was flat. But it pumped up fine and stayed hard for the short ride home. WTH, I'm a decent bike mechanic and went through the bike recently. I'll deal with all the maintenance stuff tomorrow; I'm kind of disgusted now.

Another great Sunday ride with the Sunday Riders Group. Great temps and wind conditions for a very nice 27 mile ride.

jyl, don't let it get you all worked up, remember, Illigitimi non Carborundum (just leave it at that, Latin Nazis need not jump me, I won't respond)

Had a pretty good, if cool week until today, it was 86°F when I rode, right now we are just ahead of a cool front coming through. Felt nice wearing my shorts and a ss jersey again instead of tights and a ls jersey. Ended up with 93+ miles for the week, that is a little low but Ill take it and enjoy the week.

Did 44 mi @13.8 mph, mostly on a group ride. We hit light rain most of the way and I got a flat. That's two flats on my last two group rides, not the best luck.
Yesterday, I did 64 mi on my own in Harriman Park, avg 12.3 mph. Weather was great- 60, sunny, no wind. I got a good workout going up and down the hills.
(Speeds are running times, breaks excluded, as that's how the computer does it.)

Did my 1st 65 mile ride today. My goal is to do a 100 mile ride before the year ends. My 1st pair of cycling shoes is coming next week (got my clipless pedals two days ago). Hopefully, I can go further with the new shoes and pedals

Well, a couple of hours, anyway. Trail was too full of leaves and branches and trees to use, and most country roads were flooded.
